My name is Megan Behrens, and I am a freelance artist! KreationArt.com is devoted to my art and work (and therefore life).

My drawing career began at the age of 16, having not been interested in art before that. Once I discovered that I liked drawing, I hunted all over and found as many tutorials and books and fantastic art that I could. My first year or two produced some truly horrific results, but I was learning and gradually improving

After two years of self-teaching, I entered the Communication Art and Design program at Alexandria Technical College, and there the possibilities bloomed into a whole new world. Graduating two years later as one of the top students of my class with multiple design awards, I decided to return for an extra semester to learn web design and multi-media production. On the last day of classes I applied for an internship with local design agency Th!nkCreative Advertising, and was accepted for a four month learning experience. Working with multiple clients and fellow designers and seeing how an agency operates was hugely beneficial to my experience and aptitude for the design world.

Now I am forging my own business as a freelance artist, and loving it! I am constantly on the lookout for ways to improve my work, absorbing all I can from the world and people around me. Not only devoted to expanding my own art abilities, I am always willing to help my fellow artists and designers, whether through constructive critiques, brain-storming, or mentoring new talent.

Most importantly, I am fulfilling my dream as an artist by doing what I love, and doing it well.
